JEREMIAH REUTER: It changes daily, it changes hourly. It touches every single person in the world, and so health care has always been it for me. It impacts my community, impacts my family, countries, worlds. I just love the impact that we can change healthcare for everyone.

JEREMIAH REUTER: The biggest assumptions people make about the business of health care is that every individual working in healthcare views it as a business and does not view it as being meaningful to people's lives and quality of life and to families. Everyone really deeply cares about the job they're doing to provide better quality of life and better health care to everyone they're serving.

JEREMIAH REUTER: Coordination of care is near and dear to a lot of individuals. Personally, I see this with Medicare age parents and in laws who are navigating a fragmented health care system. Very little care coordination, understanding if a procedure is even covered, if a device is even covered, misinformation, nowhere to go to get accurate information. When you're dealing with a medical issue, it's just an added stress that's probably really unnecessary.

JEREMIAH REUTER: There's a few different things I really enjoy about Optum. First and foremost, the people. I think it's a joy to work with all of our colleagues. The level of professionalism, the level of expertise, the level of servitude they bring to our customers, it cannot be done better than what Optum does.
