Transform enterprise imaging

When we look at health care as a whole,

it's tempting to say we're always improving.

But when we drill down

to specific practice areas, things

there's some kind of breakthrough, and suddenly,

of time. In medical imaging,

I believe we are on the cusp

of huge breakthroughs right now.

And, I believe there are three

distinct themes driving this. First,

so many other parts of our life. This

creates a huge leap in accessibility,

but also helps with the accompanying challenge

of security.

Last year, more than 70%

of hospitals reported a serious

security incident, and the average cost

was over $9 million dollars each.

By helping practices migrate

to one of the sector's first major

and efficiently as possible, we are helping

protect them from serious security

incidents and helping to potentially

save them millions of dollars

and costs. Second, the

world of imaging is beginning to leverage

the full power of data. Currently

that data as locked in various repositories

and archives.

With the cloud, we can unlock it

in a safe and secure way. With

strategic partners like Google Cloud,

we're able to help our customers work

closely with innovators and

researchers in the life sciences,

in pharmaceuticals and Ai companies

all over the world as they analyze

millions of images.

That leads us to huge advances

in mitigating life-altering events

like strokes. Finally,

in this new universe of unparalleled

transparency and synchronized

data, we're seeing rapid adoption

of significantly more nimble

and agile operations. And

this is essential right now, because physician

burnout is so prevalent.

About 22% of

radiologists say they plan to leave medicine

all together. That is an alarming

number on many levels. Here's

an example of how modernization is

helping in this context. For

one of our customers, we have accelerated

time to first image by 14x

with our cloud-native system compared

to their local archive. As

a radiologist, if I'm looking at about

11 patients per hour,

that saves me upwards of five hours

every week, that benefits me

in terms of better work-life balance,

and also improves my patients' quality

of care. For every hospital system

physicians, and especially our patients.
