Behavioral health support helps improve ROI

With work-life balance becoming a priority, offering no-cost outpatient therapy is more than a benefit — it’s a commitment to wellbeing.

Employee mental health needs have risen significantly since the COVID-19 pandemic, and many organizations are looking for effective, accessible ways to support their people.

Emotional Wellbeing Solutions (EWS) offers a powerful approach by connecting members and their families to no-cost, high quality outpatient psychotherapy — available virtually or in person — along with everyday self-care tools, in-the-moment support and crisis resources.

To understand the value of this benefit, a 2024 retrospective study examined employees who used EWS psychotherapy compared to those who sought therapy outside EWS. The analysis explored differences in health care utilization, cost and overall impact on wellbeing.

The results offer meaningful insight for employers evaluating benefits that drive real outcomes — for both employees and the organization.
