We offer affordable primary and specialty care at 2 different types of clinics. At both, your clients will get personalized care from a doctor dedicated to helping them get and stay healthy.
Group clinics are owned and operated by Optum. They will have “Optum” in their name. The providers who work at group clinics are employed directly by Optum. They are referred to as “group” or “employed” providers. Patient and agent relationships in group clinics are supported by the growth team. These Optum team members support patient education, retention and growth. They also organize events and foster relationships with agents.
Independent physician association (IPA) clinics are independently owned and operated clinics. The providers who work at IPA clinics are contracted with Optum. As such, they are referred to as “contracted” or “network” providers. Patient support in IPA clinics will be managed by the clinic staff themselves. Agents who need assistance supporting patients at IPA clinics can contact their local growth team member.
A healthier life starts with a highly connected care team. Our goal is to make sure your client can easily get the care they need. At each visit, they'll have quality time with a provider who understands their needs and wants to keep them feeling their best.
Primary care provider
Your client will work with their primary care provider (PCP) to create a plan to help them meet their health goals.
Advanced practice clinicians
Nurse practitioners (NPs and APRNs) and physician assistants (PAs) are part of the care team and give care when needed.
Specialists
Your client's PCP will send them to specialists when they need extra care for a specific health problem.
Our community centers help your clients age 55 and up stay active, be healthy and build friendships. We welcome members to take part in our fitness classes, social events, dancing, yoga, games and more.
