Strategic insights from Optum help target issues in maternal health
Washington, D.C. has a maternal mortality rate that is 2 times higher than the national rate. Optum combined analytics with consulting to narrow the focus of this program. The HONEY (Housing Our Newborns, Empowering You) program is a collaboration between several key community partners, including DC Human Services, Community of Hope, and the Optum Center for Health Equity to create a long-lasting, positive impact on maternal health.
