Access point-of-care ultrasound imaging data

Discover how centrally stored point-of-care ultrasound images can help your organization increase efficiency and improve revenue.

The Change Healthcare Radiology Solutions™ brochure

When the imaging data from a point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) device isn’t recorded, your organization loses the ability to track, audit or bill for the procedure. This can lead to lost revenue, increased legal risk and excess imaging.

The ability to centrally store and manage POCUS images as part of the patient visit allows for a holistic patient imaging record. Health systems can accept POCUS studies without an order, providing radiologists with access to POCUS images integrated with the corresponding patient record via the electronic health record (EHR).
