Medicare Advantage and Part D solutions for 2026

On April 7, 2025, CMS released the 2026 Final Rate Announcement and Part D Redesign Program Instructions, which will affect Medicare Advantage and Part D plan sponsors' bids and business plans due by June 2, 2025. Notably, the 2026 Medicare Advantage and Part D Final Rule, released on April 4, 2025, excludes GLP-1 drugs for obesity coverage and includes changes to Star Ratings and operational elements.
